Via Prensa Latina, a report dated Monday, March 8: Brasil comienza vacunación contra la gripe A (H1N1). [Brazil starts vaccination against H1N1]
The Ministry of Health today begins vaccinations against H1N1 flu, and hopes that by May it will have immunized some 90 million inhabitants against the disease, which last year killed 1,705 Brazilians.
And that is the first update on Brazilian flu deaths I’ve seen in many weeks. The report goes on to say that between April 25 and December 31, H1N1 infected 39,679 Brazilians.
